Connie L. Forbes, 80, of Osgood, passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. Cremation was chosen. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on July 28, 1942, in Manchester, KY, Connie was the loving daughter of Taylor and Kate (Martin) Sawyer.

Connie had attended St. John's Catholic Church in Osgood. She previously worked at Versailles Plastics. She loved reading, crocheting, and working puzzles. Connie cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

Connie will be missed by her sons, Kraig (Peggy) Forbes of Osgood, Kevin (Julie) Forbes of Greensburg, and Geordy (Suzanne) Daws of Knoxville, TN; brother, Roger (Denise) Sawyer of Bloomington; grandchildren, Jacob, Alexander, and Joshua Forbes, Kayla Duerstock, Kristina Springer, and Jessica James; great grandchildren, Christian Forbes, William, Ian, and Elizabeth Springer, Alexandria Segrest, and Aramis Warden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Taylor and Kate Sawyer; son, Keith Furlow; sister, Nora Maki.
