Mrs. Coleen Kay Phares

Coleen Kay Phares, 57 of North Vernon passed away at 9:39 AM on Friday, October 16, 2009 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Born on December 3, 1951, in Columbus, Indiana, Coleen was the daughter of the late Wilford and Francis Miles Castetter. She later married David Phares.

Mrs. Phares enjoyed golf, painting and sewing. She was a past member of the eagles.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Carrie (Chad) Jenkins of Noblesville, Indiana; Two grandchildren, Greyson and Nathaniel Jenkins; Two brothers, Joe Castetter of Seymour, Charlie Castetter of North Vernon; Two sisters, Mary Hendricks of North Vernon and Patty Leonard of North Vernon; a brother-in-law, Robert Phares of Columbus.

She is preceded death by her parents.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at the Muscatatuck Park Dining Hall.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers memorials be made through the funeral home to the family.
