Mr. Clyde W. Whitehead Sr.

Clyde W. Whitehead Sr., 69, of North Vernon passed away at 5:05 PM Friday, January 7, 2011 at his residence.

Born March 21, 1941 in Boggstown, IN, he was the son of Robert and Eliza Ziegler Whitehead.

He married Kreta Sharon Bloom. She preceded him in death. He later married Brittania Sloan on May 18, 1999. She survives.

Mr. Whitehead worked 38 years at Golden Foundry in Columbus.

Clyde is survived by his wife Brittania of North Vernon; two sons, Clyde Whitehead Jr. of Columbus, and Mark Whitehead of North Vernon; one daughter, Delores Burton of Columbus; fifteen brothers and sisters; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Kreta Sharon Whitehead, one son, James Whitehead, and seven brothers & sisters, and a grandchild, April Whitehead.
