Mr. Clyde R. Foster

Clyde R. Foster Sr., 71, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Lutheran General Hospital in Des Plains, IL.

Born in Indianapolis May 15, 1939, Clyde was the son of Leonard and Jessie James Foster. He married Patricia Ann Campbell. She preceded him in death.
Mr. Foster graduated from Versailles High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1956 - 1960. He retired from Chrysler Automotive. He loved camping, hunting, and shooting sports.

He is survived by two sons, Clyde Ross (Ruth) Foster and Curtis Foster of Indianapolis; one brother, Donald Foster of Delta, PA; one sister, Marjorie White of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Loren and Chris Rico, Tracy Cottey, Anna Mortin, Carrie Zook,and Chris Foster, and sixteen great-grandchildren. Locally he is survived by his brother - in - laws Harold "Soup" Campbell and Dennis Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Patricia.

Funeral Information

A Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Perry officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment and military graveside rites will be at Vernon Cemetery.
