Clyde Wayne Cummings Jr.

Clyde Wayne Cummings Jr., 69, of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 8:18 PM at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Born January 11, 1940 in Norman, Indiana he was the son of the late Clyde and Retha May (Hurley) Cummings.

Mr. Cummings was employed by Golden Casting Inc. for 37 years and retired in 2002. He enjoyed flying lessons, visiting the Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge and helping others.

He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Cummings, of North Vernon, Tammy Cummings of Indianapolis, four sisters, Louise Burton of Bedford, LaDonna Fricke of Galatin, Tennessee, Wanda Hess and Janice Wheeler both of Seymour, a brother, Ronald Wheeler of Booneville, Indiana, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Roger Wheeler and James Cummings and a son, Kevin Cummings.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Dupont Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home.
