Cleda M. Martin, 90, of North Vernon, passed away at 12:55 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Majestic Care.

A funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Rev. Frank McGee will officiate. Burial will be in the Bear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. till the start of the service on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at the funeral home.

Born on February 7, 1931, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, Cleda was the loving daughter of Luther and Mercy (Bary) Justice. She was united in marriage to William Martin on February 10, 1969. He survives.

Cleda was a member of Restoration Fellowship Church where she loved going to church. She enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden.

In addition to her husband, William Martin of North Vernon, survivors include sons, William Ray Martin of Columbus, Anthony M. Martin of Versailles, and Randy Keith Martin of PA; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

Cleda is preceded in death by parents, Luther and Mercy Justice; one infant son; and six brothers.
