Mr. Christopher E. Daeger

Christopher E. Daeger, 50, of North Vernon passed away at 3:57 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Vincent - Jennings Hospital.

Born July 27, 1963 in Seymour, Chris was the son of Phillip and Rosie Firsich Daeger.

He graduated from Jennings County High School in 1981. He worked as a salesman for North Vernon Beverage Company where he was employed for 26 years. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Eagles, and Moose Lodge. Chris loved watching his son Kevin play baseball. He was a Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan, and loved playing cards with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Phillip and Rosie Daeger of North Vernon; two sons, Jarrod Daeger of North Vernon, and Kevin Daeger of Hanover; one brother, Brian Daeger of Greensburg; one sister, Laurie Blackburn of North Vernon; and friend, Brenda Moore of Columbus.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 10, 2014 at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Rev. Jerry Byrd will officiate. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. A Rosary Service will be conducted at 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
