Mrs. Charolette Kay King

Charolette Kay King, 52, of North Vernon passed away at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
Born on September 4, 1959 in Salyersville, KY, Charolette was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Carla Sue Collinsworth Adams. She married Clifford Douglas King on September 30, 1987 and he survives.
Mrs. King enjoyed crafts, sewing, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Clifford of North Vernon, a son, Donald (Griselda) Elliot Jr. of Seymour, four daughters, Trianna Lowe of North Vernon, Amanda (Dean) Bay of North Vernon, Pam (Tom) Hackworth of Jackson, MI, Teresa (Virgil) VanOver of Middleborough, KY, three sisters, Cassie Adams, Vera (Michael) Wilcox, and Barbara Collett all of North Vernon, eight grandchildren, several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.
Charolette was preceded in death by her parents, in laws, Clifford and Nettie King, two sisters, Georgiana and Carrolynn and two children, Sarah and Dustin King.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home in North Vernon with Rev. Jeremy King officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday and from 10 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
