Mr. Charles W. Welch

February 14, 1957 - July 24, 2012

Charles W. Welch, 55, of Butlerville, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

Born February 14, 1957, in Seymour, Charles was the son of Thomas and Marie Vanosdol Roberts Welch. He graduated from Jennings County High School in 1975, and from Purdue University in 1980. He married Kathy Langdon Welch. She survives.

Charles worked at Dorel Juvenile Group in Columbus, and had previously worked at Muscatatuck State Developmental Center. He was a member of Graham Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Welch is survived by his mother, Marie Welch of North Vernon; daughter, Kaitlin Welch of Butlerville; brother, Gary Welch of North Vernon; and aunt, Ida Louise Huffman of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Mark Sorrels will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
