Catherine Branom, 81, of Indianapolis, formerly of Butlerville, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016, at Second Baptist Church in Columbus. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born February 10, 1935, in New Liberty, KY, Catherine was the daughter of William Branom and Stella Sanders Branom Henderson.  She will be remembered for her love of music.

Catherine is survived by her sister, Margaret Steele of Columbus, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Robert, Albert, William James, Gilbert and Lewis Branom; and sister, Nannie Henderson.
