Carroll T. Aldridge, 80, of Dupont passed away at 1:25 A.M. on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Majestic Care in North Vernon.

A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday at 12:30 P.M. at Dupont Cemetery. Rev. David Brown will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service.

Born August 9, 1940, in Jefferson County, Carroll was the son of Justice and Mable Birchfield Aldridge. He married Saundra Watts on July 7, 1986.

Carroll graduated from Columbus East High School in 1959. He retired from Cummins, Inc. He was a member of New Freedom Baptist Church. He loved his farm where he raised beef cattle. Also, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Carroll is survived by his wife, Saundra Aldridge of Dupont; sons, George (Elizabeth)Tatom of Seymour, and N. Randall (Jeanie) Tatom of OH; daughters, Karen Lynn Aldridge of CO, and Lisa P. (Randy) Hall of North Vernon; grandchildren, Jerrica McDonald and Jessica Apsley of North Vernon, Kolby and Kolton Tatom of Seymour, Nicole, Brittany, and Josh Tatom of OH; twelve great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard and Gene Aldridge; one sister, Erlene Smith.
