Carl F. Beeman, 76, of Butlerville passed away at 4:16 PM Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Born November 2, 1937, in Moonsville, IN, Carl was the son of Herman and Opal Carson Beeman. He married Patricia McVey September 13, 1957. She preceded him in death on September 4, 2007. He later married Cassie Turner on October 16, 2010. She survives.
He was a member of Nebraska Church of God and Indiana Laborers Union Local #741. He worked at Arvin Industries for twenty-eight years, Milestone Construction for eight years, and Dave O'Mara, Inc. for two years before retiring. Carl enjoyed participating in church activities, spending time with his family, going to auctions, NASCAR Racing, and was a dedicated IU Basketball fan.
He is survived by his wife Cassie Beeman of Deputy; son, Kenneth (Cynthia) Beeman of Holton; daughter, Carla (Mark) Franklin of Holton; step-children, Tina (Carl) Kuzdal of North Vernon, Tonja (Ken) Roethmeier of TN, and Kevin (Chelsie) Marcum of North Vernon; sister, Mary Boyd of North Vernon; brother, Sam (Elaine) Beeman of North Vernon; grandchildren, Brandon, Nathan, Kaitlin and Kasey Beeman, and Ethan, and Kendra Franklin, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; son, Everett Beeman; brothers, Herman, Paul, and Billy Beeman; sister, Joan Murr.
Funeral Information
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the Nebraska Church of God. Rev. Todd St. John will officiate. Interment will be in Union Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service and from 11:00 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the church.
