Carl Mason Angel Jr., 56, of Shelbyville passed away at 12:55 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Born December 30, 1958, in Seymour, Carl was the son of Carl Mason, and Helen Marlene Dickey Angel.

He served in the United States Marine Corp. Before becoming ill, he worked as a forklift driver at Ryobi in Shelbyville. He liked gardening, and spending time in nature.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Popp of Tell City; brothers, Charles Davis of Shelbyville, and Shawn R. Davis of Plainfield; granddaughter, Audrey Popp; several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
