Caitlin Barlow, 27, of North Vernon, passed away at 7:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon. Father Jerry Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Services from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019 with a rosary service being conducted at 3:30 p.m.

Born July 28, 1992, in Seymour, Caitlin was the daughter of William "Billy" and Lisa (Shaw) Barlow. She was engaged to Brandon Kendall. He survives.

Caitlin graduated from Jennings County High School in 2010. She loved any outdoor activities and especially enjoyed playing softball. She was currently employed with Martinrea as a Press Operator. Caitlin cherished spending time with her most prized possessions, her children.

In addition to her fiance, Brandon Kendall of North Vernon, survivors include mother, Lisa Barlow of North Vernon; daughter, Kennedy Barlow of North Vernon; son, Jaxon Kendall of North Vernon; brothers, Nick Barlow of Louisville, Kentucky, Alex and Joe Barlow both of North Vernon; aunts; Rachel Shaw of Vernon, Kate (Phil) Niccolai of Lawerenceburg, Mary Jo (Brad) Bender of Vernon, Mary Barlow of North Vernon; uncles, Josh (Stephanie) Shaw of Vernon, John (Susie) Barlow of Hayden, Rob (Michelle) Barlow of Madison; grandfather, Dave Shaw of North Vernon; great grandmother, Doris Shaw of Vernon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Caitlin was preceded in death by her father, Billy Barlow; grandmothers, Karen Shaw, and Mary Ann Barlow; grandfather, Bill Barlow; uncle, Mike Barlow.

Memorials can be made through the funeral home to Kennedy and Jaxon's trust fund.
