Bruce A. Larabee, 61, of North Vernon, passed away at 11:30 p.m., on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation was chosen. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service are entrusted with the arrangements.

Born on October 16, 1961, in Plattsburg, NY, Bruce was the loving son of Ronald Larabee and Sandra (MacRae) Mars.

Bruce served his country proudly in the United States Army before working for 25 years at the Lowe's Distribution Center. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, woodworking, photography, and being outdoors. Bruce was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include daughter, Lynette (Robert) Grissom of North Vernon; grandchildren, Austin and Ryder Lee; stepsisters, Lee Ann (Brian) Terrell of Ft Myers, FL, and Lisa (Bill) Higgs of North Vernon; nephews, Shaun (Candi) Couch of Hanover, and Shane (Alyssa) Clark of Lexington.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Larabee; mother, Sandra Mars; grandmother, Joyce Larabee, and Ruth MacRae; sisters, Lori and Tamber Larabee.

Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the donor's choice of organization.
