Born in Columbus, Indiana, on November 29, 1968, Brian attended Jennings County High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a dedicated employee at Cummins for 25 years and a member of the Diesel Workers Union. On weekends, he was a fixture at the dirt track, either as a spectator or in the pits working with his race family, the C and C Racing Team. His presence will be greatly missed by all those who called him a friend at the track.
Brian also enjoyed camping with his family and will be missed by his dog, Bodie. He loved Caribbean vacations, afternoon naps on the beach, and, most importantly, his family. Brian was a wonderful provider and a dedicated friend to those around him. He took great pride in his work, both at home and during the many overtime hours he served.
Brian married Michelle (Brinker) Vermillion on May 24, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Michelle; daughter, Brianna Vermillion; and stepson, Derek Rhude, all of Hope, Indiana and stepson Jacob Bunch of Columbus, Indiana. He is also survived by his son, Levi Vermillion, and granddaughter, Evelyn Vermillion, of Springfield, Vermont.
Other surviving family members include his parents, Paul and Deloris Fox, and Benny and Lila Vermillion, all of Butlerville, IN; his sister, Heidi (Britt) Urbancic of Elizabethtown, IN; and his step-siblings, Kelly (Andrea) Lovegrove of Butlerville, IN, Kevin (Anna) Lovegrove and Sandy (Tony) Taylor of North Vernon, IN, and Sherry (Matt) Emberson of Shepherdsville, K; and brother, Chris Vermillion, of North Vernon, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers an account has been established in his daughter's name at First Financial Bank for her educational future.
