Brenda J. Martin, 59, of North Vernon, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at her residence

Born June 28, 1950 in Catskill, NY, she was the daughter of Theodore and Lois Ballou Smith. She married Larry Martin November 24, 1966. He survives.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing card games, Yatzee, Scrabble, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Martin of North Vernon; daughter, Heather Finch of North Vernon; sons, James Martin of Sydney, NY, and Prentice Martin of Gaston, SC;
grandchildren, Noah, and Alana Finch, Michelle Guiles, and Amanda and Roberto Ojeda.

She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Elsie Guiles.
