Bradley Scott Burgmeier

Bradley Scott Burgmeier, 40, of Taylorsville and formerly of North Vernon passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010.

Mr. Burgmeier was born on June 30, 1969 in Bartholomew County, In. He was the son of Dennis Burgmeier and Susan Van Blaricum He married Nikita Martin, she survives.

Brad had worked with computers as an IT Programmer and as an Information Systems technician. He was a 1987 Jennings County High School graduate. He enjoyed computers, computer games and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife; parents, both of North Vernon; two sons, Jacob Scott and Seth Caleb Burgmeier of Buford, GA.; two step- daughters Natalie Rose and Lauren Dai Smith of Taylorsville; two half- brothers, Britt Burgmeier of Vernon and Nicholas Burgmeier of Corydon; and stepmother, Ruthanne Burgmeier of North Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester and Louise Burgmeier, Lloyd Brougher and Mary Louise Schonfeld.

Arrangements are in care of Sawyer~Pickett Funeral Home.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at First United Methodist Church in North Vernon on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Marvin Sweet officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Brad Burgmeier Trust at Indiana Bank and Trust or the Mary Schonfeld Athletic Scholarship through the Community Foundation.
