Ms. Bonnie J Selig

Bonnie J. Selig, 55, of North Vernon passed away at 11:30 AM Sunday, December 21, 2014, at her residence.

Born January 7, 1959, in Bartholomew County, Bonnie was the daughter of Tyler and Deloris Mathis McFarlane.

Bonnie had lived 17 years with a heart transplant she received on May 3, 1997. She was a member of the Butlerville Mennonite Church. She loved her grandchildren, enjoyed playing cards, bingo and working puzzles.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Jeannie Selig (Andrew Boyd), of Butlerville, and Kim Selig, of North Vernon; step daughter, Melissa Selig, of Columbus; sister, Debbie Bailey and brother, Woody McFarlane, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Alexa, Kolin and Delainey Boyd, and grandmother, Lorene Martin, of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ronnie, Ricky and Harold McFarlane.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral Home. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Interment will be held in Union Flat Rock Cemetery in Ripley County. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.
