It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bonnie J. Atha, who left this world on January 27, 2026, at the age of 73. Bonnie was born on February 14, 1952, in Jackson County, KY.

A proud graduate of Crothersville High School, class of 1971, Bonnie dedicated over 53 years of her life to Silgan Plastics in Seymour before retiring. Her work ethic was as strong as her love for her family, which included her devoted husband, David Atha, her children: Crystal Atha, David Atha Jr., and Anthony Atha; brother, Bill Money. She also cherished her role as a grandmother, often lighting up while spending time with her grandkids, Benjamin Atha, Braksten Finch, Shaelin Finch, Megan Atha, Lexi Atha, Alex Atha, Kiana, Destiny, and Kaitlin; two great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was a member of Brown's Corner Chapel, where she found strength and community. When she wasn't working or enjoying her family, she loved gardening and found comfort in watching, Joel Olsteen and David Jeremiah, on TV.

Visitation will be held at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service on Monday, February 2, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Rev. Jim Weld will officiate. Bonnie will be laid to rest in Vernon Cemetery.

The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory. Bonnie's warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and, Josie Harris Money; siblings, Buster Money, Eb Money, Don Money, and Geraldine Hollin.
