Beverly A. Vogel, 81, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:07 a.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at four corners. Rev. Jerry Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, with the Rosary beginning at 3:30 p.m., at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.

Born on May 21, 1940, in Indianapolis, Beverly was the loving daughter of Kenneth and Mary Lois (Millholland) Wilkerson. She was united in marriage to Charles Vogel on October 25, 1958. H preceded her in death on December 18, 2013.

Known to most all who loved her as Bev, she was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at four corners. She had served on the Rosary Society. Bev also volunteered with the Red Cross Blood Mobile. She enjoyed playing cards with the card club. Bev liked to cook and bake, make and paint ceramics, do puzzles. Most of all, Bev cherished her family and all the family get togethers over the years.

Bev is survived by sons, Michael (Michelle Mull) Vogel of Henryville, Scott (Lori Leahigh) Vogel of North Vernon; daughters, Melissa Skirvin of Vevay, and Barbara (Scott) Walker of Indianapolis; twelve grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Lois Wilkerson; husband, Charles Vogel; sons, Greg and Chris Vogel; son in-law, Tom Skirvin; sisters, Kim Webber, and Sharon Wilkerson.
