Mrs. Betty M. Foga

February 26, 1929 - September 19, 2011

Betty M. Foga, 82, of North Vernon, passed away September 19, 2011 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born February 26, 1929 in Vernon, Betty was the daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Davis Harp. She married Henry Foga on June 5, 1947 who preceded her in death on October 20, 1999.

Mrs. Foga had worked for North Vernon Nursing Home and Johnsons Nursing Home. She enjoyed watching baseball and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Foga is survived by 3 sons , Charles (Vickie) Foga, Tom (Dee) Foga and Larry (Mary) Foga of North Vernon, IN daughters Jean Hammond, Mary (Dean) Fletcher and Anna (Terry) Fletcher of North Vernon, 3 sisters, Diane of Lebanon, Julie Knoles of Florida and Marlice Evans of Portland, OR; 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Carol Ann Foga and Janet Foga; and 2 sisters, Margaret Foga and Paula Harp.

Funeral Information

A funeral will be conducted on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2011 and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
