Beth Ann Steiner 8/17/1944 - 4/13/2025 Beth passed peacefully with family surrounding her and was ready for her next life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Beth's life was always filled with family and community activities. She enjoyed growing up on the farm and helping with the outside chores. She was a 10 year 4-H member and never stopped being involved for over 50 years as a 4-H Leader and volunteer, 4- H Council, Extension Homemakers, President of the North Vernon Sewing Guild, Board member of Jennings Water and also Board member of Jennings County Farm Bureau, reading to multiple elementary classrooms; in 2023 she was named the Indiana Purdue Extension Person of the Year. Beth never stopped quilting, traveling, cooking, learning and being involved where she could make a difference. She is survived by her husband, Bob Steiner of 40 years and sister, Emalee VanSyoc, brother, Jim Brackemyre, daughter Mary (Betsy) and Chris Robbins, Stephanie and John Lee, Gina Steiner, Bobby and Alma Steiner, Virginia Steiner, Laura Steiner. 13 grand children: Jessica Armstrong, Tasha Bevolo, Alexandra Lockhart, Sapphire Young, Curtis Tyler, Amanda Maxon, Thomas Robbins, Draven Lee, Elizabeth Robbins, Joe Lee, Shelby DeGraffenreid, and Xavier DeGraffenreid. 8 Great Grand children: Becca Dorsey, Ryan Steiner, Jaden Tyler, Ryland Barber, Remy Barber, Brooklyn Ingram, Zeth Armstrong, Meadow Maxon, Oakley Maxon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Eva Jane Brackemyre and granddaughter Jamie Miller. At her request, there will not be a service but a celebration of life is being planned in August, 2025.
