Barbara Ellen Woodson, 81, of Seymour, lost a battle with leukemia and went to be with the Lord at 7:45 p.m. on February 26, 2018 at Salem Crossing in Salem, IN.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Reddington Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.

Born May 12, 1936, Barbara was the daughter of the late James Edward and Lucy Frost Hanners.

Barbara enjoyed gardening, cooking, flower arrangements and poetry.

She is survived by her son Joshua Kyle Lafferty of Seymour.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Jean Woodson in 1990.

Memorials made be made through the funeral home to the family.
