Mrs. Anna M. Webb

December 22, 1931 - September 21, 2011

Anna M Webb, 79, of North Vernon, passed away at 12:05 a.m. on September 21, 2011, at Jennings Health Care Center.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. The Rev. Randy James will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Vernon Cemetery.

Born December 22, 1931, in Anderson, IN, Mrs. Webb was the daughter of Millard and Hatti Cline Zornes. She graduated from North Vernon High School in 1951. She married Herbert P Webb, who preceded her in death in 1995.

Mrs. Webb was the executive secretary to the Vice President of Cummins, Inc. She was employed at Cummins for 23 years, and retired in 1987. She loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles with her husband, flea markets, antiques and traveling.

Mrs. Webb is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Harris and Janna Harrison, both of North Vernon; one sister, Marie Lane; 4 grandchildren, Schuyler Harrison, Emily Barton, Brandon Harris and Thomas Harris; and 7 great grandchildren, Haley, Cameron, Hayden, Mackynzi and Rylee Harris, Alex Barton and Aiden James Harrison; beloved brother-in-law, Watson Webb; and her best friend of 40 years, Henrietta Mettler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, James Harrison; four brothers, Elmer Zornes, Raymond Zornes, Estel Zornes and Thurston Zornes and beloved sister-in-law, Lulu Belle Webb.
