Mr. Andy B. Ray

Andy B. Ray, 59, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:50 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
Born October 25, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas, Andy was the son of the late Andy Grant and Maudie McIntyre Ray. He served in the United States Army from 1972 until 1976 and later married Janet Scobel on December 31, 2002. She survives.
Andy had worked as an auto mechanic and enjoyed fishing, working on cars, being outdoors and his two dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Ray of North Vernon, a son, Chris (Mary) Hilligas of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, a daughter, Rebecca (Chris) Whitis of Grammar, and four grandchildren, Shianne and Kaytlyn Hilligas and Kylie Jo and Brayden Whitis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Riley Children's Hospital.
