It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alice F. Wallen, who departed this life on January 1, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on April 8, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Alice lived a fulfilling life as a devoted homemaker, skillfully managing her household and nurturing her family with love and care.
Alice was a passionate cook, known for her delightful culinary creations that brought her family together. Additionally, she had a keen interest in crafts, where her creative talents shone brightly, providing joy not only to herself but also to those around her.
Alice is survived by her beloved son, Scott "Auzzie" Green, daughter-in-law, Chilli Green and daughter Alicia Schriber. She will also be missed by her siblings, Mary Wagner, Judy Allen, Jerry Coonfield, Victor Welch, and Wilma Richardson. The cherished memories of Alice will be carried on by her grandson, Greg and his wife Tanner Green, as well as her great-grandchildren: Ryanne Green, Teagan Green, Knox Green, and Lucas Green.
No service is planned at this time. Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Alice F. Wallen will be remembered for her loving spirit, creativity, and the indelible mark she made on the lives of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Muriel Clark Welch; husband, Edward Wallen; siblings, Patricia Smith, Stephen Welch, Shirley Russameroff, Rachel Faucet, Earl Johnson, Douglas Johnson, Sylvia Terry.
