Mrs. Alice Schuck

Alice Marie Schuck, 64, of North Vernon, passed away at 12:15 pm on June 30, 2011, at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Born May 1, 1947, in Jennings County, Alice was the daughter of Fletcher and Bertha Day. She married Donald Schuck on August 2, 1965. He survives.

Alice was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon. She was a former president of the Jennings County Homemakers.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Schuck is survived by three sons, Kevin Schuck of Arlington, TX, Daniel Schuck and Andrew Schuck, both of North Vernon; daughter Melissa Wagner of Minneapolis, MN; a sister, Mary Smith of North Vernon; grandchildren Dereck Wagner, Caitlyn Schuck, Ryan Schuck, Micah Wagner and Sara Wagner; and great grandchildren Owen Wagner and Raiden Eagle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Rosanna Low, and a brother, John Day.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Monday, July 4, 2011 at 10:00a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in North Vernon. The Rev. Jonathan Meyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Sawyer - Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. A rosary service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
