Mr. Albert Pearson

June 30, 1922 - February 18, 2009

Albert Pearson, 86, of Edinburgh, formally of Madison, passed away at 11:16 AM Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at his residence.

Born June 30, 1922 in Sanders, KY, Albert was the son of George and Bertha Mae Wheeler Pearson. He married Nadine Pearson. She survives.

Mr. Pearson served as a jailer from 1964-68 in Warsaw, KY. He was a mechanic at Shirmer Motors in Warsaw, KY, Bennett Motors, Brogham Chevrolet and Ford Motors in Madison, IN. He was manager of Crooked Creek Trailer Park. He was a former member of the Madison Pentecostal Church, and a member of the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle.

Albert is survived by his wife, Nadine Pearson of Edinburgh; two daughters, Linda (Garry) Sharon of Sparta, KY, and Elizabeth (Mark) Myers of Edinburgh; a brother, Tom Pearson of Texas; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 9 foster children.

He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Allen Hamm, his parents, four brothers George, Robert, and Walker Pearson and William Baxter, and a sister, Ann Parsons.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle, with the Rev. Mark Myers officiating. The committal service will be at 3:00 PM at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
