Lloyd E. Hall, 85, of North Vernon, passed away at 4:35 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Larry McIntosh will officiate. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Born February 23, 1932, in Hazard, KY, Lloyd was the son of Bill and Lidia Breeding Hall. He married Bonnie Chapman on December 28, 1956. She survives.
Lloyd served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He retired as a mechanic for Regal Rugs. He was a life member of VFW Post #2021. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play ball.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hall; two sons, Clinton (Lora) Hall of Columbus and Billy (Tracy) Hall of North Vernon; two sisters, Ruby Bakehorn of Wabash and Jean McGinnis of Florida; four grandchildren, Nathan, Levi, Ethan and Lidia Hall; and four great-grandchildren, Steven Michael, Easton, Morgan and Weston Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lidia Hall.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice Inpatient Facility.
