Dearest Mitchells, I was so sorry to read about the passing of your mother. I remember you all very well and fondly from Scipio Elementary. Your mother was always one of my favorite parents - she always had a smile. Then later we talked often when your Grandma Madge was my Foster Grandparent. (Madge was another great lady.) My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have a photo of Leila taken with Gloria's step-father at the Jennings County Fair; email me if you would like to have a copy sent to you. I only met Leila a couple of times, but she was always in the heart and mind of Gloria. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
