Jeffrey Feaster, 53, of Franklin, passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rev. Ron Bridgewater will officiate. Burial will be held immediately following at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Born May 2, 1964, in Greenfield, IN, Jeffrey was the son of James Lowell and Kathryn Emerson Feaster. He married Debra Vance on July 29, 1989. She survives.
He served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the DAV, American Legion, VFW and NRA. Jeffrey was employed as a service repair manager for DMG Mori. He enjoyed woodworking, shooting guns and building things.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Debra Feaster of Franklin; his mother, Kathryn Feaster of North Vernon; two sons, Denny Feaster of North Vernon and Jeremy Feaster of Franklin; two daughters, Jennifer Feaster of Franklin and Stephanie Dixon of North Vernon; a sister, Pamela Coates of North Vernon; two brothers, James Feaster, Jr. of North Vernon and John Feaster of Butlerville; and four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Joseph Feaster, Sandra Hatfield and Lucie Vest.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Feaster, Sr.; a brother, Richard Feaster; two sons, Joshua and Andrew Feaster; daughter, Ashley Feaster; grandmothers, Irene Cunningham and Gertrude Feaster; and grandfathers, James Cunningham, Asa Guy Emerson and Henry Feaster.
