Gwen (Walker) Morgan

Gwen L. Morgan, age 86, of North Vernon, Indiana, formerly of Lincoln
County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019.  Born
Wednesday, March 15, 1933 in the Poodle Doo Community of Casey County,
Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Byron & Lula Pittman Walker. 
Gwen worked, for many years, at the Muscatatuck State Hospital and was
of the Baptist faith.  Gwen enjoyed spending time with her
grandchildren, working in her flower gardens, and cooking.  She will
always be remembered for taking excellent care of others.

Gwen leaves behind three children, Linda Sylvester of North Vernon,
George Morgan of Stanford, Kentucky, and Tamme Bright (Tony McDaniel) of
North Vernon; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great
grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Gwen was preceded in death by her husband,
Faris Burkley Morgan; two brothers, Gene Walker and Ira Walker; and one
sister, Faye Foster.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Thursday, September 26, 2019 at
Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home with James Bright officiating the
service.  Burial will follow in Durham Cemetery on Calvary Ridge Road in
Casey County.

The Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Thursday at the funeral home.
