Edward M. Renoll, 75, of Grammer passed away at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
A funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Sawyer – Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born June 29, 1943, in Westminster, MD, he was the son of Clarence and Romaine Mummert Renoll. He married Dorothy Barrett on January 6, 1962.
Edward served in the National Guard. He was a deputy sheriff in Jennings County for several years. He worked as a truck driver and retired from Cardinal Trucking.
He was member of the Fraternal order of Police and Ducks Unlimited. He was formerly a member of the Masons and volunteered for Civil Defense.
He enjoyed mowing grass, remodeling, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Renoll of Grammer; sons, Dennis (Deena) Renoll of Commiskey and Brian Renoll of North Vernon; daughter, Brenda (Mike) Perkins of Grammar; brother, Alvin Renoll of Lineboro, MD; sisters, Miriam Donovan of Anacortes, WA, and Virginia Laughman of Hanover, PA; eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe and Preston Renoll; sister, Janet Laughman; and one granddaughter.
