Carlos Holder Obituary

Carlos Holder, 59, of North Vernon, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Born August 29, 1958, in Monticello, KY, Carlos was the son of Jess and Allene Patrick Holder. He married Janet Dixon on October 9, 1981. She survives.

He loved woodworking, reading and NASCAR.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Janet Holder of North Vernon; his mother, Allene Holder of Dupont; a son, Carlos Patrick Holder of Nashville; four sisters, Sandra (Gary) Clark of London, OH, Debbie (Marvin) Bell of Georgia, Sherry Ricketts of London, OH and Joanie Roark of Dupont; five brothers, Zelmer (Joann) Holder of Richmond, Keith (Donna) Holder of North Vernon, Denzel (Lori) Holder of Clarksville, Harold and Mark Holder of Dupont; four grandchildren, Christopher Taylor, Suevanna Holder, Kenny Holder and Melanie Newton; one great-grandchildren, Mara Jane Holder.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jess W. Holder
