Lance William Anderson

Lance William Anderson, 18, of Scottsburg, passed away at 6:50 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, in North Vernon.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service.  Visitation will be from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2017.  Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery.

Born April 13, 1999, in Columbus, Lance was the son of Todd Anderson and Amanda Garriott Sigman. 

Lance worked at Aisin and Baxter Lumber.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, 4 wheelers and dirt bikes, as well as hanging out with his brothers and sisters.

In addition to his parents, Lance is survived by two sisters, Emily and Brooke Moore of Columbus; one brother, Owen Anderson of Seymour; a step-brother, Jayden Jackson of Seymour; grandfather, Terry Anderson of Freetown; and grandmother, Carroll Garriott of Scottsburg.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Judy Anderson, and a grandfather, Robert Garriott.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
