I am so sorry to hear about the tragic loss in your family, someone so young. Please accept my deepest sympathy and may you find comfort from the words at Isaiah 41:10,13 and from God's promise to bring to life again those who have died. Acts 24:15

I am sorry I cannot be there to reflect on the good that Johnny demonstrated in his life. I left Grand Rapids, MI, on time (kind of) and then discovered at the IN state line that I came off without cash, plastic or drivers license. Haven't done that since I went to Detroit rodeo and left my gear home. I enjoyed having Johnny Concrete in rodeo. He was always so positive and full of life. I'm sure he is now a shining star in heaven. I appreciated that he helped me when I was promoting the gay cowboy photographs of Blake Little at the Eiteljorg Museum in Indy. The family and his friends can be very proud of what Johnny exemplified in life. I was hoping to bring John's nametag from IGRA University as a memento, but I can't locate that as of yet, but when I do, I would like to send it to the family.

This is still unbelievable to me! After all the struggles you went through in life, I was always in fear that you had already left this world. Then almost 15 years later this past July you appeared on my messenger! I was so happy to hear from you. We had good, bad, scary and sad times together. I will always cherish our friendship and will never forget you! I was so looking forward to seeing you again next week but your memory will remain in my heart always . You had such an awesome outlook on life and always knew what to say when things were a little rough. I love ya lil buddy , you take care up there and keep them all smiling. We will grieve you in death but will celebrate your short time here on Earth, you accomplished so much for a young man! RIP dear friend, until we walk the paved roads of gold together.
