Anna Margaret Mick, 80, of North Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born September 4, 1936, in Jennings County, Anna Margaret was the daughter of Raymond and Frieda (Dawson) Fair. She graduated from Vernon High School in 1954, and married James Mick on June 5, 1955. He survives.

Anna Margaret was a homemaker and a wonderful mother and best friend to all her children. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabel, and she enjoyed her grandchildren, camping, cards, going to the casino and being with her family.

In addition to her husband, James, Anna Margaret is survived by five daughters, Rayann Thompson, Darlene Ruth (Rick) Williams, Nancy (Rob) Apsley, Carolyn (Ron) Hensley, and Sandra (Scott) Clark, all of North Vernon; three brothers, John (Margie) Fair and Leon (Evelyn) Fair, both of North Vernon, and Paul (Shelia) Fair of California; a sister, Lois (Jim) Loos of Texas; 18 grandchildren, Emily (Colin Hill) Thompson, Zach Thompson, Joe (Kelsey Back) Thompson, Caitlin Thompson, John Williams, Jennifer Sells, Amy (Shelby Hicks) Williams, Nicole (Eli) Brown, Adam Williams, James Caum, Maggie Ann Caum, Justin (Michelle) Apsley, Ryan Apsley, Joel (Katina Stroup) Hensley, Allie (Clark) Tyler, Carly Hensley, Abbie Clark and Jacob Clark; and nine great-grandchildren, Jesse Thompson, Jace Thompson, Theresa Williams, Brittany Thill, Carson Williams, Jarikah Williams, Karter Brown, Konner Brown, and Jaysen Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Eric Thompson.

There will be a private Celebration of Life for family and friends on Sunday, April 9, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Mrs. Mick’s home. Condolences for Jim may be sent to 505 S County Rd 90 W, North Vernon, IN, 47265.
